Wadi Natron

This special interest tour includes a side of Egypt that is rarely noticed. Located in Wadi Natron are the locations of the first monasteries in Egypt. Four of these monasteries still survive until today, Deir Anba Bishoim, Deir Abu Maqar, Deir El-Baramus and Deir El-Suryani. this trip is features little known locations, exhibiting a unique time in Egyptian history.

Itinerary

Early morning pick up from hotel.

Drive to Wadi Natrun.

Visit the monastaries of Deir Anba Bishoim, Deir Abu Maqar, Deir El-Baramus and Deir El-Suryani.

Return back to Cairo to prepare for the next adventure.
